Diana's tragic death
On August 30, 1997, Diana and Fayed went to the Ritz Hotel in Paris and were driven by the Al-Fayed family chauffeur and Dodi's bodyguard. They are followed by paparazzi, and crash in a tunnel in Paris.
Shortly after midnight in Paris on August 31, 1997, the car carrying Diana and Fayed, along with a bodyguard and driver, went out of control and crashed in a Paris tunnel. Fayed and the driver were killed immediately; Diana died after his death. The bodyguard survived despite serious injuries.
